Located in our offices in Toronto, ON and Burnaby, BC reporting to the VP, of Procurement, we are seeking a highly motivated, solution-oriented individual to support clinical supplies and equipment purchasing. The Customer Service – Dental Supplies and Equipment will support and assist our dentist partners and their dental clinic teams by offering outstanding customer service while being an advocate for, and subject matter expert in, our preferred line of best-in-class clinical products. Working in alignment with the 123Dentist ‘vision and mission’, you will have involvement in the onboarding of new dental clinics and be responsible for training our clinics on our supplies ordering platform.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Partner with the Operations team to provide frontline support to dental offices and teams with the procurement of clinical supplies and equipment, escalating issues to subject matter experts when necessary
- Monitor, support, and collaborate with those clinics with low utilization in order to increase and optimize utilization by providing the necessary tools, resources, and reporting
- Provide training on our procurement platform to newly acquired and existing 123Dentist clinics
- Provide input to internal processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of support to offices
- Document solutions into a shared knowledgebase to improve support and consistency in responses for supported offices
- Supporting the onboarding team with procurement platform setup for clinics
- Supporting offices for sample requests
- Processing and supporting equipment orders with multiple vendors
- Other duties as directed by the VP, of Procurement or designate.
Education, Credentials, Qualifications:
- Diploma-level (or higher) education in a related field from a recognized education institution preferred but not mandatory.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- 3 or more years’ experience in the customer service field – prior experience in the dental industry is preferred but not mandatory
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience using an integrated online purchasing system is required – Dentira and/or Coupa supply ordering system experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to liaise and build rapport with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- High level of verbal and Dental Support & written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Hands-on approach and able to handle large volumes of work to tight deadlines
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Demonstrable competence in MS Excel/Teams/PowerPoint and comfortable operating at an Intermediate or Advanced level.
