DEPARTMENT: People & Technology
The People and Technology Department is comprised of three teams:
The People & Strategy team looks to support our employees across all stages of the employee lifecycle and elevate the employee experience. This includes managing full-cycle recruitment, job evaluation, policies & procedures employee compensation and benefits, rewards and recognition, learning & development, and employee engagement initiatives.
The Infrastructure team manages the physical assets of Doctors of BC related to the building, office equipment and maintenance of the building. The team also responds and provides resolution to any issues concerning office equipment, furniture and building maintenance. They also manage the internal and external mail, and take care of general office services and provide support to the tenants within the building.
The Information Technology provides technical and software support and training to the employees of Doctors of BC. The IT department is a strategic business partner to further advance the interests of Doctors of BC through technology.

THE JOB: Coordinator, Equity Diversity & Inclusion
Doctors of BC is committed to embracing equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) as core principles of our culture and policies and has begun an EDI journey both externally for physicians (in 2019) and internally for employees (in 2020).
Reporting to the People and Diversity Manager, the Coordinator, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion supports the overall progress of our internal EDI journey at Doctors of BC, using our EDI Roadmap as the guide, through three specific areas of responsibility:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for taking a proactive approach to ensuring progress occurs across their portfolio and that milestones are met and effectively communicated across the team, department, and with internal and external stakeholders including the People & Diversity Manager as well as the Chair(s) of the EDI Employee Working Group.
