Our client, a global leader in the food manufacturing industry is looking to hire a Full-Time Long-term Industrial Millwright to join their team directly in Stoney Creek, Ontario.
MILLWRIGHT JOB DESCRIPTION:
You’ll be maintaining all packaging and processing equipment used on all manufacturing lines plant wide. This involves proactively inspecting, servicing and overhauling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Repairing and servicing processing and packaging equipment on a planned schedule
Effective troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime – understanding failure modes and ability to recommend solutions to eliminate equipment failures
Installation and modifications of machinery and equipment as needed
Collaborating with manufacturing teams to improve equipment reliability
Pro-actively reporting equipment status and repair requirements to production and maintenance teams in a clear and positive manner
Reporting daily work effort and failure root causes to facilitate reliability improvement
LOCATION: Stoney Creek, ON
SKILL REQUIREMENTS (minimum to be considered):
1) Hydraulic and Pneumatic troubleshooting experience
-Minimum 3 years of experience performing maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment that use hydraulic and pneumatic components.
2) 433A Millwright Red Seal License Mechanic
-Must be an active red seal ticketed millwright
3) Experience with conveyors and packaging equipment
-Prior maintenance and repair experience on conveyors and packaging machinery.
4) Experience working in a GMP environment
-Prior working experience for a food, pharmaceutical or health and beauty company.
SHIFT SCHEDULE: (Weekly Rotation Between:)
Day: 6:00am-2:00pm
Afternoons: 2:00pm-10:00pm
PAY:
Starting at $44/hr with opportunities for raises based on development and performance (Just the starting wage)
