The Administrative Assistant position provides professional administrative services to the department, including the sales and marketing functions, and others as directed. In order to support and improve overall operating efficiency, the individual in this role works under general guidance to plan, prioritize, communicate and organize workloads, and takes responsibility for special projects as needed.
Essential Functions:
Providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Assisting in the development of operational procedures. Assisting the Office Manager with financial responsibilities and office accounting procedures. Planning and coordination of meeting and event logistics. Completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs and maintaining equipment inventories, use log and maintenance. Assisting the HR team with agency recruiting, interview scheduling and employee onboarding as needed. Coordinating emergency/security activities with property management as needed. Maintaining organization of office common and storage space.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
This position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent). Excellent communication skills (including writing and editing skills) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Prior experience should include working in a production environment, meeting established production and accuracy goals, with the ability to maintain focus on quality of details. Candidate needs to be flexible, a team player, a self-starter and be open to occasional overtime. Resolve problems within area of responsibility without specific direction. Has company focus.
