WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
As an HR and Finance intern your contribution will have a lasting impact on Belmar. This role will support HR and Finance functions through providing efficient and effective administrative support to both departments. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who can take initiative to solve problems. You are creative in nature, and possess exceptional organizational skills.

What you will be doing
Finance
- Provide general accounting support
- Assist with statistical analysis and other special projects
- Support with invoice generation and bookkeeping support
- Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
- Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
- Assist in Accounts receivable follow up
HR
- Assist in coordination throughout recruitment process
- Provide support for payroll and benefits administration
- Work with HR team to carry out internal culture events
- Actively improving employee experience
- Assist the HR Manager in ad hoc tasks
Preferred Skills & Experience

- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet deadlines and to anticipate next steps or needs
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A bachelor’s degree (or currently enrolled student) in an HR/Finance Program or equivalent work experience
- Understands and can utilize emerging platforms for purposes of recruitment (eg. LinkedIn Recruiter)
- Working Knowledge of HR Policies and how to implement them in growing teams
- Strong Excel modelling and Powerpoint skills
- Experience with accounting software (sage)
