One of our clients in the Oil and Gas industry located in Sarnia Ontario is looking for an Administrative Assistant with a strong background in IT. The candidate will be working on site, and the hours are Monday till Friday from 8AM till 12:00PM-full time hours, one year contract. Pay rate is 24$ hourly, 40 hours weekly full-time hours. This is role if a long-term contract with possibility of being extended or converted.
This position is mostly to support all activities across department and or individuals. May work on special projects to include recording, compiling, retrieving, reporting, and analyzing information.
Responsibilities:
Provide the help and support to the day-to-day operation.
Meeting arrangements, (schedule, room reservations, catering requests).
Document updates (manuals, test methods, forms)
Timecards stewardships.
Internal order updates.
Responsible for invitation letters to customers.
Operating training center audio/visual equipment.
Quarterly Stewardship.
Assist with stationary ordering and storeroom upkeep.
Assist with staff changes.
Health and safety following policies and procedures.
Excellent communications skills.
Participate actively to improve quality, processes.
Audit control, scheduling, follow up with team on specific tasks.
Qualification:
Diploma/Degree in relative field/administrative Executive, IT Savvy is required
Knowledge on SAP is required
Excellent with MS office Suite 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote is required
SharePoint knowledge
Communication skills (written and verbal) is a must
3-5 years’ experience in similar role would be an asset
Flexible and capable of performing other duties as required
Goal oriented, positive and team player
Exceptional inter-personnel skills
Self-Manage, problem solving, Flexible, Time Management
