The Challenge:
This position is NOT for just anyone.
Fitting into a company of hard-working, super-smart problem solvers who are always on the move is hard. We are looking for a new member of the finance team who is directly responsible for performing collection calls and other related accounts receivable duties.
Whom you are working with:
Primarily you work alongside the Accounts Receivable Team. The Accounts Receivable Administrator will have diplomatic interaction with customers to provide billing information and support.
What you will do day-to-day:
- Collaborate with the Supervisor for general A/R performance levels.
- Communicate with customers on outstanding account balances.
- Reconciliation of customer accounts when discrepancies arise.
- Post receipts for customer payments,
- Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its customers.
- Processing customer payments
- Providing copies of invoices to customers when required.
- Other related duties as required or assigned.
What you need to succeed:
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Excel required
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Dynamics experience is an asset
Experience:
5+ years’ direct experience in a A/R and A/P role
Education:
High School Diploma required.
Post-Secondary Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
