Raise Looking for Recruiter at Toronto, ON Full Time

Our Banking client in Toronto, Ontario is looking to hire a Recruiter for a 10-months contract role with Possibility of extension.

What you will be doing…

• Source and recruit candidates for Scotiabank call centres in Toronto, Ottawa, and Halifax (monthly classes of 30 new hires in each location).
• Working with a team to ensure recruitment numbers are met within deadlines.
• Responsible for sourcing the best talent and delivering exceptional candidate experiences.
• Pre-screen candidates, complete assessments, coordinate final interviews with business line, offer management.
• 25 requisitions per recruiter at any given time (will be working in a team to fill all three classes each month).
• Managing the onboarding process (creating offer letters, tracking backchecks, following up for documentation).
• Required to actively source candidates through indeed, job fair etc.
• 50% recruiting/ interviewing candidates, 50% administrative functions.
• Provide market intelligence to your business, functioning two steps ahead to stay proactive.
• KPI’s: Ratio between number of pre-screens, final interviews, assessments, and offers (they track their own numbers), 100% fill rate.

What you will need to succeed…

Must Have Skills:

• 2 years of progressive recruitment experience in a high-volume/ fast paced environment (agency or corporate).
• Experience with full cycle recruitment process, including onboarding.
• Basic Excel skills.
• Experience in behavioural interviewing techniques.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Prior experience with Job Fairs and public recruitment events.
