Our client is looking for a reliable and organized Accounting Clerk to support their finance department with a variety of full cycle accounting duties. This role will provide the chosen candidate with excellent mentorship and a chance to grow with organization. Reporting to the Director of Finance, main responsibilities include:
- Responsible for full cycle accounting duties including A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations and month end journal entries and reports
- Record day-to-day transactions and post to general ledger
- Prepare and review employee expenses and credit card reimbursements
- Prepare and remit property taxes
- HST/GST and corporate tax filings
- Assist with year-end financial audit
- Other duties as requested

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Formal accounting education
- 2-4 years relevant experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with QuickBooks is considered a strong asset

- $55,000- $60,000 annual salary
