HAYS Looking for Accounts Payable Clerk at North Vancouver, BC Full Time

A leading manufacturer and distributor is seeking an Account Payable Clerk to join their team in North Vancouver, BC. Reporting to the Accounting Manager and with daily support from the Accounts Payable Supervisor, this role plays an essential part in the Accounting department and works closely with all departments, particularly the inside sales team, to ensure accuracy when dealing with accounts. The ideal candidate will be joining a dynamic team where teamwork and excellence are at the core of the daily work culture.

The main responsibilities for this role include ensuring all invoices are accurately processed, reconciling vendor accounts, investigating invoices for accuracy, issuing payments, maintaining historical records, and assisting other departments with purchases. The ideal candidate will have a basic degree or certificate in Business, Accounting, or Finance, minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, attention to detail, and proficiency in enterprise-level financial software systems, spreadsheets, and email applications.

This position requires strong organizational and time management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and good problem-solving abilities. The successful candidate should have a keen eye for detail, be able to work independently as well as in a team environment, and have the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
