Job Summary:
The Sr. Manager, Business Development will be the senior representative of Ledcor Technical Services (LTS) for named accounts, specific services, and/or regions within Canada. You will achieve Ledcor’s client, regional and service-specific growth objectives by developing and executing a plan, which will include research of the market and competitive assessments, exploring new areas of business growth, relationship development and management, all to ensure a sufficient flow of new business and profitable revenue.
The position covers a combination of responsibilities in the areas of Business Development, Account Management, Relationship Management, and Sales and will primarily focus on Ledcor’s technical field services offerings, supporting the telecommunications Industry in Canada.

Essential Responsibilities:
Identifying and assessing opportunities by discovering and leveraging existing and new client requirements; defining market, competitors’ share, and competitors’ strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted Ledcor market share; relationship building directly with clients, potential clients; and related Industry experts
Improving service marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities
Achieving financial objectives by assessing monthly and/or quarterly forecasts and working with operations and finance, assisting with the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets
Direct engagement with Ledcor’s internal operations, finance, support services and senior leadership, aligning on strategy and tactics (example: capacity, skills, coverage, and profit expectations) to support existing and potential clients, all while ensuring Ledcor’s focus on health & safety
Qualifications:
Five plus years of business development / account management / sales experience within the telecommunication industry in western Canada
Knowledgeable about the overall telecom industry and able to quickly understand Ledcor’s services and how to communicate this to our clients and prospects
Well-connected within the ranks of decision-makers responsible for network implementations and expansions
Proven experience in developing, nurturing, and sustaining client relationships and ability to determine priorities and consistently deliver results
Ability to learn, adapt and persevere are key attributes of this candidate
