Maintain a cooperative, team attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees, both within your department and in other departments. Attend and participate in Department Meetings. Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with sales, hotel departments, and customer to ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event, and post event phases of hotel events; primarily to support the event team and office functionality.
Book internal RCRC meetings, and small parameter meetings

Menu Cards
Pre-con Binders and Welcome Packages
Set up the Pre-con prior to client arrival
VIP Gift Requests & Card Preparation
Breakfast & Parking Vouchers
Courier Sending – Instant (Local) & Purolator
Updating BEO’s – based on signed copies
E-rooming List & Rooms Pick-up Status, etc.
Contacting & Following up with Event Accounts at Manager’s Absence
Managing and actioning ESS system and surveys
Attending In-house Meetings
Filing
Placing Orders as needed
Processing Invoices & Tracking on Log-sheets
Attendance Recording & Filing for Events & Coordinators – Sales to be done by the Sales Coordinators
Taking Minutes for Conference Calls & Weekly Event Meetings
Answer the phone (Sales or Events) and follow Sales/Event standards
All other duties as assigned
To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
1-2 years of Sales or Events Coordinator experience
Delphi cloud based and HMS experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
One to two years of applicable on-the-job experience
Proficient in Microsoft Applications: word, excel, power point, and outlook
Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
Be able to clearly express oneself verbally in the English Language using good grammar, vocabulary, eye contact and a friendly voice inflection.
This position is to report to work five (5) day per week and if required, may be instructed to work additional time due to any special events that may be occurring at River Cree Resort & Casino.
