Job Summary:
The role of the Regional Sales Manager is to create growth, implement, and promote National Account programs and promotions, fleet changeovers, maintenance and marketing activities, personal initiatives with the assigned accounts, and customer channel promotions.
In this position you will work with National Account and District Sales Managers within all channels of distribution promoting SKF full product portfolio. As the Regional Sales Manager, it will be your goal to grow, develop, and maintain regular sales objectives with Key Distributors/Dealers/Stores/Fleets and Repair shops assigned in your territory. This includes all branches under each assigned account, as well as key fleets to maintain existing business. The goal is to expand product lines at existing business and grow new business. You will be expected to place an emphasis on all accounts to have established goals and objectives set to drive new sales through the full line of SKF product offerings. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement annual strategies with the key accounts. You will also be using the National Programs as a base and further developing those programs as required for profitable growth. The expectations are for growth and to achieve this goal it is expected over 80% of time should be spent on selling and motivating distribution personnel to sell SKF as their first choice.
The majority of this role is working the assigned accounts, must be able to work within a matrix of departments within SKF for additional indirect support required for growth activities. This is your business/territory to run and must show the motivation and drive to grow this business. We are seeking Candidates in Kelowna, British Columbia; Vancouver, British Columbia; and Calgary, Alberta areas.
