As a Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting our partners in identifying solutions and auditing financial aspects of a variety of processes, including those in the Finance and the Employee Experience sectors. You will have to understand the impact of business processes on financial results and will audit accounting and reporting processes, such as regulatory and management reports, payroll and processes related to the many employee benefits offered to employees. You will also assist the independent auditor in the audit of the Bank’s financial statements.
Your role
Maintain a relationship of trust with partners from other sectors
Contribute to audit engagements by collaborating with an experienced team and with partners from the concerned sectors (1st and 2nd lines of defense), by being responsible for sections of the mandate or by acting as audit mandate lead
Contribute to the identification of the risks that could have a significant impact on the examined processes (effectiveness and optimization) and contribute to the establishment of the audit strategy, considering the use of data analytics as a tool to achieve audit objectives
Analyze the problems encountered, identify the root causes in cooperation with relevant partners and support them in the identification of innovative and realistic solutions to eliminate the causes of the problem
Present the results of the work carried out to the partner responsible for the processes examined, issue recommendations and communicate the findings convincingly in the audit report

Skills required
Bachelor’s degree related to the industry and height (8) years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree related to the industry and five (5) years of relevant experience
Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations and working on several files simultaneously
Demonstrated relational leadership and ability to ensure effective partnership with stakeholders as well as capacity to persuade partners
Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to simplify and synthesize information
Agile, results-oriented, and able to work in a multidisciplinary team of experts
Ability to solve complex problems and demonstrate innovation
Ability to organize and analyze data to draw relevant conclusions
Bilingual (speaks / writes fluently) in French and English, as you will work with colleagues outside Quebec
