The Training & Enablement team is a small team with a big scope within SMB. We support one of TELUS’ premier growth and acquisition channels, with over 1000 team members, and internal and external partners. Our goal is to continuously strengthen and enable our team and organization – from our new hire onboarding journey to ongoing sales and process training, we drive strategic programs at every level of the organization.

As a Senior Learning Specialist on our SMB training team, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of our training curriculum for sales reps and managers. You will act as the consultant and liaison between project teams and the organization, and help develop, manage, and deliver training content across all of our partner teams, which include our new hire training, reinforcement and coaching programs and sales leader training. Here’s how

• Design and facilitate engaging classroom-style virtual trainings
• Serve as a trusted resource on SMB systems and products for sales reps
• Collaborate with go-to-market teams to proactively support training content and process updates
• Develop and modify learning content to ensure ease in delivery and audience ability to retain information
• Measure and evaluate the success of training initiatives to drive continuous improvement
• Communicate to all levels of leadership, sharing performance insights in correlation to training delivery
• Seek and leverage team manager feedback to align training content to performance opportunities
• Develop engaging training content, to include varied methodologies (self-directed learning, instructor-led, etc.)
• Build and roll out new programs focused on continued learning and upskilling for our sales teams
• Provide 1:1 coaching and learning development plans for sales reps who need additional support
• Advocate for a best-in-class team member & partner experience by proactively identifying pain points in the development process and recommending creative solutions

• Experience with Adobe Captivate or other eLearning development software
• Experience working with sales teams an asset
