Job Summary
At PQCHC, we rely on our IT systems to support our teams to provide service to our clients. We’re seeking an experienced IT Manager who can join our team, using their technological skills to make us more efficient and improved our service delivery. The IT Manager is responsible for the IT systems oversight of the organization, including the development, implementation and maintenance of the new Service Site Manager project. In this role, you will analyze our current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training. Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of network maintenance, experience managing teams, and advanced knowledge in IT systems and data analytics.
Job Specific Responsibilities
Identifies and acts on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
Leads the IT strategic and operational plans, initiatives and projects for the Site Service Manager project, and other projects as applicable
Develops and implements IT policy and practices for the organization
Maintains essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
Develops and monitors IT budgets and initiatives
Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase and support of IT business solutions
Anticipates future needs, identifying proactive solutions to align with organizational direction and emerging needs
Oversees IT team for the Site Service Manager and other applicable projects
Acts as an escalation point to ensure the Center’s Helpdesk needs are met and evaluated
Communicates with internal and external stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate performance, solutions and strategies
Responsible for maintenance of IT documentation, policies and procedures delivered by the team
Responsible for governance reporting and presentation to Senior management on all IT related issues, planning and performance
Ensures local system changes and enhancements support user needs and are compliant with system-wide processes and standards
Oversees development, implementation and monitoring of security policies and practices related to data management and IT systems
Supports and monitors relevant data and analytics to inform business decisions
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree or diploma in technology or computer science
5+ years experience in IT management
Minimum 3 years related data management experience
Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures and system performance monitoring
Experience as a computer trainer, including assessing training needs and developing plans to address these needs at a range of skill levels
Experience in data quality management
Experience with data analytics
Excellent leadership and communication skills
