Black & McDonald’s Southern Ontario Service team is growing! If you are searching for the opportunity to build a solid foundation for your career, this position is for you. The Coordinator, Client Services is located in Toronto (GTA), ON and reports directly to the Supervisor, Client Services.
This position plays a critical role in the support and growth of our Plumbing and Heating business lines. Excellent problem-solving abilities and superior communication skills are key attributes. The successful candidate exhibits an ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional “customer first” attitude. Key elements of the role are responding to and delivering client quotations, supporting the Plumbing and Heating Supervisors with administrative functions.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Plan, in conjunction with the Operation Supervisors, the execution of quotations and documentation for projects in accordance with Corporate Policy.
Creates work orders in JDE, tracking status of quotations and life cycle of approved jobs.
Follows up on proposals with clients on a timely basis to secure orders. Coordinates labour resource scheduling with the Service Coordinators as required.
Procures necessary materials and equipment to complete work, provides required documentation for procurement processes.
Coordination of service requests from clients including the assignment of appropriate technical staff, subcontractors and third parties.
Arranging site materials and tools as required.
Administers the Backflow Program for various municipalities in the GTA.
Working closely with Field Staff and Service Coordinators, to proactively complete assigned work in a timely fashion.
Looks for efficiencies and continuous improvement in processes.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.
Adhere to the Company’s Quality System operating procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of service management systems.
JDE experience an asset.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of internal and external individuals.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
University or college degree in mechanical engineering, engineering technology, project management.
Plumbing or Combustion skilled trade experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years relevant experience in a related environment.
Commercial Plumbing and Heating knowledge, quotation experience, and/or Inside Sales experience preferred, however we are willing to train the right candidate.
