Responsibilities
- Recruitment of various positions for the company – industrial and clerical
- Assist with interview process
- Collaborate with department mangers for hiring needs
- Assess applicant’s knowledge and competencies
- Onboarding and orientation
- Job descriptions, internal/external job postings and interviews
- Preparing offer letters
- Coach Managers and staff on employee relation issues
- Conduct internal investigations
- Facilitate training programs
- Assist Health and Safety department
- Assist in collective bargaining
- Participate and assist in the grievance committee
- Travel may be required
- Conduct research in key areas of human resources and other duties
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience as an HR or recruitment professional in manufacturing/distribution
- Must have a strong interest in recruitment
- Must be fully bilingual – French and English
