Enghouse Looking for Corporate Development & Finance – M&A at Toronto, ON Full Time

We are looking for a Corporate Development & Finance – M&A professional. This professional will be a key finance partner on acquisitions with significant visibility and interaction with the senior leadership team at Enghouse.

What you will be doing

• Manage M&A transactions including modeling, due diligence, purchase accounting, valuation, and project management of the integration of acquisitions, as well as post-acquisition monitoring
• Assess deal models and perform or review financial due diligence on potential acquisition targets
• Evaluate synergistic opportunities and risks in potential transactions
• Advise on financial risks and develop strategies and methods for risk mitigation during deal structuring and target negotiations
• Develop comprehensive project plans for due diligence through to integration and manage all downstream implications to completion
• Monitor acquisition goals and communicate performance updates to Accounting, Finance and Executive Leadership
• Develop and maintain Excel workbooks and financial models to facilitate the evaluation of opportunities

What you bring:

• CPA / CA required
• Audit experience required
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and rules and regulations
• 5+ years’ experience with technology sector including SaaS evaluations
• 5+ years of corporate development / buy side acquisition experience
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and business case building
• Strong work ethic, with an effective combination of business acumen, sound decision-making, and a bias for action; ability to act in a decisive, urgent, and committed way to achieve results; remain focused on deliverables and leverage resources to reach goals
• Ability to travel and work long hours as circumstances demand
• Ability to participate in sensitive projects with absolute confidentiality
