Hobbs Pickles is looking for their next Key Holder at the Granville Island Pickle Bar.
The ideal person for this role loves creating engaging and memorable experiences for people throughout the day. You are a responsible person and enjoy working in retail.
Reporting to the Retail Manager, this role is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to learn more about how to run a successful business.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow brand awareness for our guests
- Prepare and sample products for guests
- Promote sales for team members
- Maintain the look of a branded environment and visual merchandising
- Opening and closing procedures to ensure the team is set up for success
- Register sales transactions, itemizing and totaling customers’ purchases
- Ensure product is continuously stocked and inventory levels are correct
- Monitor product quality control
- Break down pallets of 40 pound pails of pickles (note: please do not apply if you have existing injuries that could prevent daily heavy lifting of pails).
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of retail or customer service experience
- Food Safety Certification (if you don’t have this, we can help you obtain this)
- Must present a BC Proof of Vaccination Card and ID
- If you have a work visa, it must be valid through 2022
