High Tech Genesis Looking for Full Stack Developer at Ottawa, ON Full Time

High Tech Genesis is looking for ambitious software developers to design and develop software which will enable innovative security systems around the globe. You will participate in the design, development and validation of software modules and hardware platforms focused around IP video capture, compression, processing, streaming and analysis.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of software development experience in C#, C++ and C
• Experience in development on Linux, Windows, Android (optional)
• Skilled in building and maintaining APIs (REST)
• Experience in protocol development such as ONVIF, RTSP, PTZ, etc.
• Proficient in HTML, Java Script, Angular development
• Knowledge of video management systems (VMS)
• Bilingual (French/English)

Technical Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge in networking (TCP / IP, UDP, Multicast, HTTP (s), RTP / RTSP)
• Knowledge of video security systems over IP
• Knowledge of design techniques such as UML

Desired Skills:

• Ability to read and analyze electronic circuit diagrams.
• Knowledge of encoding systems and video decoding (MJPEG, H.264)
