Costco Pharmacy in Richmond, BC (9151 Bridgeport Road) is looking to hire a Certified Pharmacy Assistant.
Daily tasks and responsibilities include:
– Provide prompt and courteous patient service
– Take in prescriptions, gathering all necessary information
– Enter prescriptions accurately and in a timely manner with minimum supervision
– Package, label, and stock medications
– Compound mixtures and suspensions
– Answer phone calls and be able to troubleshoot problems
– Communicate with members, co-workers, health care professionals and suppliers
– Retrieve filled prescriptions and process register transactions
Qualifications:
– Education/Training: Completed a Pharmacy Diploma at a Community College or similar work related experience in a pharmacy setting.
– Experience: Candidates with current pharmacy experience will be given preference.
– Strong communication skills required
– Knowledge of Kroll software (or other computer/data entry skills) is an asset
