Day Shift runs Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Weld Flux core (all positions) and metal core (flat)
- Fit and fabricate cranes and crane related parts as per blueprints
- Ability to use grinder, die grinder, oxy acetylene torch, forklift, overhead crane
- Ability to find and repair weld defects
- Keep work area clean and free of hazards
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Secondary school diploma or high school equivalent as a minimum
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in structural steel fitting and welding
- Mechanically inclined
- Able to work well independently or in a group
