A Senior Business Systems Analyst in the Business Technology division provides comprehensive application expertise to deliver projects to support AIMCo business and technology objectives. As a member of SCD Heavy team your role will be primarily focused on designing solutions within SimCorp Dimension application.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Business Technology (BT) agile teams to implement project initiatives for SimCorp Dimension.
• Leading SimCorp technical solution design for project delivery and developing best practices for SimCorp application development
• Providing technical expertise in Fund Admin, Finance Schemes, Account Assignments, Instrument type’s core native functionalities
• Work with SimCorp vendor to perform system upgrades
• Identifying potential risks and possible solutions to ongoing projects
• Identifying areas of improvement and automation for repeatable tasks and processes
• Supporting training and orientation of new or entry level employees

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• 3+ experience working with SimCorp Dimension Accounting Modules – Financial Accounting and Fund administration.
• 3+ Experience working with SimCorp Dimensions Investment Book of Records Module – financial instrument life cycle events
• 2+ years of experience in working with various back-office transaction creation windows and working with portfolio calculation in SimCorp Dimension
• Experience working with SimCorp Dimension integration modules – Filter Toolbox, Data Extractor, Communication Server, Batch Job Groups, and Services
• Experience in configuring and supporting Transactions workflows within SimCorp Dimension
• Experience with SimCorp Dimension Upgrades is considered an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Success Measures

12-month success will be achieved by having a strong understanding of AIMCo’s application workflows, SimCorp solution design, and technical processes which are required to deliver various projects for the SimCorp Dimension (SCD) application. The successful Senior Business Systems Analysts will be able to provide technical expertise and implement optimal solution designs.
