We are an agile, growing organization that has experienced excellent growth year over year. Our team is growing and we are looking for a motivated and energetic individual, to join us as a Skilled Construction Labourer, who has more than 3 years experience with contractors or construction managers.
Responsibilities/ expectations for this position include:
– Ability to use variety of tools including power tools such as hand shovels, wheel barrows, saws, power sweepers, drills, augers etc
– Rough Carpentry skills required
-Ability to operate small equipment like bobcats, skid steers, telehandlers preferred
– Miscellaneous works at construction site including grouting, levelling of soil and earth using equipment and tools
-General site and construction building cleanup
– Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods of time
– Load, unload and move construction material around site
-Mix, pour and spread material
-Install fall protection barriers
-Prepare and install small pieces of formwork for miscellaneous concrete and grouting works
– Ability to make temporary ramps, catwalks and barriers out of timber
Work Experience:
The ideal candidate shall have more than 3 years of experience working in a similar position with Construction Contractors or Construction Management firms on Commercial Projects.
Education:
High school diploma
Skills:
– Valid Driver’s License with own vehicle for commute
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
