Overview of the opportunity:
The Junior HR Technology Support Analyst provides daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual support in several operational HR business and system processes by running moderately complex system processes (benefits enrollments, data loads, and new hire data quality review). The successful candidate will work under the guidance and direction of the Manager, HR Technology Support.
What you will do:
Data Entry:
Provide functional support for PeopleSoft data entry and transactional issues.
Benefits:
Process annual Benefits elections updates for retirees under guidance of the Manager, HR Technology Support Team.
Investigate benefits issues escalated from the HR Shared Service Centre.
Data Quality Services:
Review iCIMS (Recruiting system) and PeopleSoft transactional audits to ensure all hires and rehires have been correctly interfaced to the PeopleSoft (PS) system.
Assist with distributing PeopleSoft correction requests to appropriate parties as required.
Effectively liaise with Talent Attraction recruiters on data quality issues, facilitating process improvements, developing job aids and tools to support correct data entry, and reporting back on issues and concerns, etc.
Other:
Escalate technical issues (e.g. multi-system impacts, hardware or coding related concerns, etc.) to the Manager, HR Technology Support.
Contribute to maintaining up-to-date documentation in support of all system processes (process maps, SOPs, etc.)
What you bring to this role:
Undergraduate Degree or College Diploma; with HR training and/or experience preferred.
2+ years experience in a software/technical support position with PeopleSoft.
Experience with PeopleSoft, iCIMS, or other HR applications.
Strong client relationship skills.
Proactive and solutions-oriented personality.
Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word).
Knowledge of Excel Macros would be an asset.
Strong relationship management, communication and writing skills.
Proactive attitude towards ownership of tasks; strong organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills as a team player.
