WHY WE NEED YOU? GLAD YOU ASKED…
We’re looking for a Business Analyst. One who understands digital media, because this role is instrumental in helping to drive insights for growth in our core businesses. One who can translate technical challenges to business solutions, because this role will need to share information between technical / non-technical teams. One who can learn, because there is a lot of change happening in the industry all the time, and we need to keep up. One who can tell great stories from data, because they may be required to present to key stakeholders. But ultimately, we are looking for someone who wants to help us build a smarter company through insights and reporting data.
WHAT’S THE DAY TO DAY LIKE?
- Support the analytic needs of our product teams by using tools from Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Firebase and others to analyze user data.
- Collaborate with the product and marketing teams on regular basis to provide in depth audience reporting, insights, visualizations, and materials to support presentations and decision making
- Help plan migrations roadmap from Google Analytics (Universal) to New Google Analytics (aka Google Analytics 4)
- Cultivate and manage relationships at the company and among the teams
- Work with other business analysts to foster smarter analysis and deeper insights across all business units
WE ARE HOPING YOU HAVE
- Led or participated in data migration projects in the past and have experience-based ideas around best practices
- Worked extensively with Google Analytics – bonus points if you’ve worked with both the UA and GA4 versions
- Worked in both structured and unstructured environments and are comfortable navigating either to ensure the job gets done right
COMPETENICES
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in marketing, consulting, and/or media
- Advanced level knowledge of Google Analytics 360 Has focused in one or more of the following areas: digital analytics, optimization, statistical modeling, consumer insights, and/or marketing analytics
- Broad understanding of analytical processes including but not limited to data management, forecasting, optimization, predictive modeling, and visualization
- Understand how to read and interpret reports, and create dashboards using Google Data Studio
- Experience with BigQuery or have used data visualization tools like Power BI is a plus!
