Who are we looking for:

Our Construction Administration Department is looking for a skilled Architectural Designer/Technologist to work in our Construction Administration department who is passionate about taking design ideas and seeing them through construction. Our ideal candidate is adept in supporting complex multi-disciplinary projects with an ability to work in collaboration with team members across our studio. Not limited to sharing your passion about detailing and construction administration, project management practice.

What you will do:

You will collaborate with Project teams working to see Construction Administration projects through by assisting with the following deliverables across a variety of projects including but not limited to;

• Review of project submittals;
• Change management;
• Process, review and respond to RFIs;
• Prepare and execute construction administration documentation;
• Perform site reviews and issue applicable reports;
• Review and approve progress draws, certify payments;
• Evaluate and certify substantial performance;
• Perform occupancy review and carry out project close-out processes.

Liaise with the architecture/engineering teams to ensure project completion complies with contract documents and applicable codes and regulations

What you will bring:

• A degree/diploma in Architecture
• Proficient in MS Office, Bluebeam and Revit
• 3-5 years progressive Construction Administration experience in an architectural firm
• Knowledgeable of building codes and other regulatory jurisdictions;
• Skilled at understanding and interpreting contract documentation
• Excellent communication skills and expertise in managing high functioning multi-faceted marketing teams.
