SMS Equipment Inc. Looking for Talent Acquisition Summer Student at Acheson, AB Full Time

At SMS Equipment, our Talent Acquisition Summer Student will be responsible for assisting the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment related functions. This will include reviewing, screening, and distributing high volumes of resumes. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organized person to join our team here in Acheson, AB.

This position offers a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Review, screen, and distribute resumes through UltiPro.
• Review the initial pre-screen of candidates through UltiPro.
• Assist with internal and external recruitment process as required.
• Data entry and tracking in recruitment trackers.
• Assist with social media advertising as well as the review and updating of our career pages.
• Participate in the planning of recruitment events.
• Provide additional support to the Talent Acquisition team as needed.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be currently enrolled in and working towards a Diploma, degree or equivalent in Human Resources. Other requirements include:

• Possess a basic understanding of the recruitment process.
• Excellent computer skills, to include MS Office and other systems.
• Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information.
• Proven interpersonal communication skills and effective written communication skills.
• Proven organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven ability to work effectively independently and in a team to accomplish goals.
• Ability to follow direction and be self motivated.
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast paced, high volume environment.
• Previous office administration experience is an asset.
