Network Infrastructure
The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

What you will learn and contribute to
You will learn from a seasoned team of network engineers as you contribute to supporting large-scale ISP and mobility service providers. You will get exposure to working in a global multicultural services organization.
As part of our team, you will:
Troubleshoot customer network issues on various IP Service Routers Product Lines (includes 7950, 7750, 7450, 7210, 7705 and VSR).
Participate in RCA discussions with TEC (Technical Expertise Centers), and regional R&D, to identify corrective actions and provide readouts to customers.
Maintain problem status and problem resolution records via ticketing system(s). Prepare reports on problems encountered and methods of resolution applied ensuring overall system integrity and reliability.
Maintain awareness of new features and customer specific applications via training and workshops.
Your skills and experience
Education Recommendations
You are at least a third year student working towards a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with an accredited school in Canada.
You have:
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent written communication skills.
It would be nice if you also had:
Quick learning abilities and an appreciation for knowledge sharing with others on the team.
Understanding of layer 1-4 TCP/IP protocols within networking environments, including CLI.
Work issues across multiple platform environments.
Experience with Linux

United States Salary Range: $24.10 – $52.65
