LGM is currently looking for several Automotive Claims Adjusters in the Montreal region. This is a fast-paced, exciting and varied role where you will get to use your special blend of automotive knowledge and expertise in customer care to offer best in class support to our customers and dealer partners.


What You Will Do

  • Manage complex technical claims adjudication such as engines, transmissions, differentials and electrical failures
  • Provide exceptional customer service via telephone, online, live chat and written correspondence channels to customers who have purchased our product, auto dealerships selling our product and repair facilities that service our customers
  • Monitor customer service queues (Phone, Online Portal, Email and Live Chat)
  • Manage requests received via ticketing systems, to ensure timely responses to all customers while ensuring adherence to our contractual service level agreements and departmental key performance indicators
  • Facilitate the claims adjusting process to meet contractual service level agreements, departmental KPI’s and underwriting commitments
  • Support LGM’s efforts to give back in our communities by completing up to 4 fully paid volunteer days each year


What We Are Looking For

Bright, sparky individuals who want to join and be part of creating a fun work environment while offering exceptional customer experiences with a great handle on, or who offer

  • Analyzing overall damage to determine procedures for repair
  • Determining the extent of direct/indirect damage and direction of impact
  • Building estimates according to GAA standards, using Audatex and Mitchell-on Demand estimating software
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Handling negotiations with tact
  • A courteous and professional telephone manner
  • Bilingualism in French and English (oral and written)
  • Journeyman certification status – 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprenticeship preferred
  • Valid Adjuster licenses
