About the position:
This is a 12-month contract position, with the possibility for extension.
The Junior Territory Manager is responsible for actively pursuing tradition battery markets. In the position, you will use your previous sales experience to build relationships and secure sales with new clients and customers. You will also collaborate with the Operations Team and the Regional Sales Team to coordinate sales efforts to expand Canadian Energy sales. The Junior Territory Manager will be eager to learn and develop their sales skills while contributing to the success of Canadian Energy.
The ideal candidate will have some previous experience working in the Battery Industry, the Automotive Industry, or the Heavy Trucking Industry.
The Location:
This position will be based in our Paradise, NL Branch. Your territory will encompass the Greater St Johns Area with some longer trips being required periodically. Semi-monthly sales meetings in the office or via online platforms (Teams), connect you to your fellows without compromising your ability to focus on the route and lead development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
- Relevant post-secondary education and/or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years proven outside sales experience.
- An ongoing commitment to product and service knowledge.
- A clean Class-5 driver’s license; ability to provide a drivers abstract.
- Physically fit with the ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.
- The ability to travel throughout Canada.
- The ability to pass a background check.
- Experience in the automotive industry is an asset.
- Warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment experience.
