As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with passionate professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our guests. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the infrastructure of the complex, refreshing guest rooms, public areas, and meeting rooms, and contributing to the growth and development of the Maintenance Department.
Responsibilities:
Complete daily rounds of all areas of the building, monitoring the operation of the Complex’s infrastructure and making adjustments as needed to ensure it runs efficiently
Refresh all guest rooms, public areas, and meeting rooms through drywall repair, painting, and plumbing
Review daily reports for deficiencies and prioritize their completion
Review, prioritize, and complete all unassigned Preventative Maintenance Requests generated by the PMXpert Software
Consistently update Facilities Office Manager regarding the completion timeline of any engaged projects
Understand and be able to demonstrate the responsibilities in the Emergency Response Plan in correspondence with your position
Be involved in all Departmental Meetings and contribute to the growth, development, and presence of the Maintenance Department
Perform other assigned comparable or transient duties that are within the domain of knowledge and skills required by the position description
Requirements:
2nd year plumber with a ticketed trade/certificate or designation
Previous hotel experience as an asset
Adaptable to flexible and on-call schedules as business needs dictate (may include weekends, evenings, holidays, and overnight periods)
Excellent time management, verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer knowledge
Plumbing experience is required
