Take the first step towards designing your career with Stantec. We have an exciting role and challenging opportunity for a Data Management Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Supervisor Data Management, the incumbent’s primary role is to enter data into our HR systems. This is an entry level position and is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a passion for HR systems and understanding the workflow in the HR function. Join our collaborative team and play an important role in ensuring the integrity of our HR data.
Your Key Responsibilities
Completes all routine data entry and identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods following HR data entry processes documents (e.g paper Employee Change Forms (ECFs) and Taleo new hire excel spreadsheets and SharePoint site).
Confirms paperwork is complete with appropriate approvals prior to entering data in the system.
Ensuring appropriate turnaround time on all data entry.
Filling the appropriate paperwork in the respective online folders.
Performs validation activities for data entered in Oracle where needed and coordinates with the team to make any necessary corrections.
May work on data entry projects on daily basis and year end activities.
Provide general data entry support across many teams on an ad-hoc basis.
Filter and sort data, reconciling data reports and results.
May perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
Qualifications

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a large team.
Understanding of Data management best practices and principles.
Knowledge of Human Resources general policies, procedures and guidelines.
Conceptual understanding of Data analytics and auditing principles.
Education and Experience
Proven 2-3 years of data entry work experience.
Advance MS Excel skills are essential for this role.
Knowledge of HRIS Systems (preferably Oracle).
An ability to manage a heavy workload, large data processing with excellent attention to detail.
Accurate typing and data entry skills.
Have impressive communication skills and meet tight deadlines.
The ability to work autonomously, reviewing work on a regular basis and consistently meeting role objectives.
Typical working environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
