What You Will Be Doing
- Manage and oversee the production operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of products
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity
- Supervise and lead a team of production staff to ensure they meet production targets and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers
- Manage inventory levels and ensure appropriate levels of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies are maintained
- Spearhead business development wins through identifying and following up with new clients
What You Bring To The Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production management role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to attract and develop existing and new clients
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software
