Office Clerk (2353) – Our client is a global provider of transportation products and services, from their assembly lines to customers’ driveways. The main function of an office coordinator to supervise and coordinate the activities of office workers. A typical office coordinator is responsible for general project and office management, including a substantial variety of correspondence, records and accounts.
Compensation and Work Schedule
– Term: 12-month contract position (ongoing contract)
– Work Schedule: Day shift, 6am – 2:30pm
– Compensation: $25 – $29
– Work location/environment: ONSITE – Oshawa, Assembly plant office
– Travel: no travel required
Qualifications and Education
– High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
– College degree or equivalent training preferred.
– 5-7 years of experience required
– Union experience – previous experience in union environment is helpful for transition
– Microsoft Office (Outlook, word, Excel needs to be proficient)
– Attention to detail
Responsibilities
– Required to do some physical work from picking product from warehouse to loading it onto a trailer
-Picking, sorting, and coordination of tags and loading into designated areas
-Working closely with supervisors and other staff
Give stacks of orders that need to be processed to team
-Working efficiently and effectively to ensure parts are shipped out on time and correctly
-Organizing and printing reports for logistics purposes
-Working with strong attention to detail with an inventory system
Required Conditions
