The Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC), a national union representing over 65,000 professionals and scientists throughout Canada, is seeking a Human Resources Officer to join its HR team located in the National Office.

This position is an integral part of our dedicated five (5) person HR team led by the Human Resources Manager and Senior Advisor to the Chief Operational Officer & Executive Secretary of the Institute. We are seeking an HR generalist with focused experience with Equity, Diversity & Inclusion and Change Management.
Our HR team is focused on delivering high quality core HR and labour relations services while partnering with our management team and employees to enhance our work environment, develop our team members and facilitate the people side of Institute change initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of progressive HR generalist or specialist experience and a related degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Business Administration or a related field. An HR or related professional designation is a definite asset.
