Job Responsibilities
Specifically, the Receptionist will be responsible for:Managing the front desk of the campus while providing excellent customer serviceSupporting the administrative functions of the campus to enhance the student experienceEnsuring campus supplies and equipment are kept stocked and in good working orderActing in a manner that upholds the College standardsQualificationsTo be successful in the Receptionist position, individuals must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following:Education and Experience:High school graduation with basic training in office practices and customer service.A minimum of one years’ experience in a similar position.Anequivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.Skills and Abilities:Excellent Customer Service SkillsKeyboarding speed at 40wpm with accuracyAbility to handle a multi-line telephone switchboardWorking knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointAbility to use various office equipment including fax and photocopy machinesAbility to multi-taskAbility to complete work in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work independently with minimum supervisionGood judgment and ability to prioritize assignmentsAbility to work under pressure and maintain a calm focus during hectic periodsGeneral understanding of the programs and services provided by the CollegeAbility to exhibit a professional attitude and image with a commitment to quality service
