Mier Human Capital Looking for Jr. Billing Clerk at Regional Municipality of Peel, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Our client in Peel Region is actively looking for a Jr. Billing Clerk to join their team.

Title: Jr. Billing Clerk

Length of Assignment: Temporary to permanent

Salary: $17-18/Hour

Responsibilities

• To update and capture extra charge revenue provided by Agents and Interline providers. To approve, decline and update charges from external sources.
• Auditing daily emails from carriers with extra charges to be added/approved (emails are being received throughout the day)
• Daily emails from customers or Sales Rep to explain extra billed or declining charges. Providing backups of extra charge billed. Revised pro and removed additional charges if not applicable/billed in error.
• Daily emails from Accounting Dept to explain extra charges billed and send requested carrier backups/additional charges notices. Sometimes need to go back to the carrier to provide more information on the extra charges billed.
• Invoicing and confirming carrier rates

Job Requirements:

• Secondary School with some college
• Multitasking, including various projects at the same time.
• LTL/400 or other TMS knowledge
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a team environment
• At least two years in a Logistics capacity
