2 courses at McMaster University or nursing student with successful completion of all level 2 courses in McMaster

University and Mohawk College collaborative program or nursing student with successful completion of all level 1 courses

in the Mohawk College Diploma program

• Computer familiarity or willingness to learn computer skills as required
• Demonstrated effective communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, teamwork skills
• Demonstrated initiative and judgment appropriate for the position

Unit Summary

E4/F4 is an active inpatient facility providing integrated clinical, research and education services for adults with surgical needs and/or digestive disease disorders. The unit is comprised of diverse services including surgical oncology, surgical, medical and palliative care. The goals of services to our patients are cure, control or palliation. There are 3 observational care beds and remote telemetry available if required. Patients are often admitted for management of complex issues such as surgical emergencies and symptom control.
