Wonderbrands Looking for Machine Operator – Day, Afternoons and Evening – Packaging Machine at Ontario Full Time

Shift: Day Shift: 5:00 am – 5:00 pm

Pay rate: $21/hour

Job Duties:

• Comply with all applicable legislative and Wonderbrands food safety, health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.

• Ensure packing machine parameters are set to product specs and running efficiently.

• Follow production schedule & prepare packaging materials accordingly

• Monitor the packing/ bagging process and make adjustments as needed.

• Do metal detector checks as per set frequency & complete required documentation

• Do in process checks for weight, visual check for size & over all appearance, verify correctness of packaging materials

• Report any quality and/or process variation to the Production Supervisor in a timely manner

• Conduct product change over as per quality procedure

• Pack product into appropriate bags & set up coding as per procedure

• Clean work areas – sweeping, cleaning all tables and surfaces, racks, and machines.

• Manage breaks for packaging crew

• Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Desire to work in a fast paced environment

  Quick learner and team player and keen attention to detail

  Available to work on the weekends, days off are Monday and Friday

  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
