Overview:
At BeMo, we believe everyone deserves access to higher education. We’re an EdTech company that helps students navigate the maze of higher education admissions to become world-class professionals. The Admissions Consultant (Occasional) will join our team to lend their expertise to the development of programs, content, and other projects that will assist students on their medical school and residency journeys. This is a project-based role with absolute flexibility that can easily fit into even the busiest of schedules.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- On an occasional basis, you’ll be asked if you can contribute to exciting projects that may include: Content creation, updating, and editing; program development, participation in webinars, and product development in areas related to your expertise and experience
- Collaborate and share your ideas with our outstanding team of leading medical professionals
- Work from anywhere, and set your own hours

Requirements:
- Must have admissions committee experience.
- Must be located in the United States or Canada
- Ability to work independently and participate in self-directed learning
- Must be tech savvy
- We ask successful applicants not to work for other test prep companies
Traits of Successful Applicants:
- Detail-oriented and extremely organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to act independently with very little supervision and have a great work ethic
- Managerial attitude taking full responsibility for assigned roles
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Must have access to high speed and reliable Internet with minimum download speed of 10 Mbps.
Our Hiring Process:
We are highly selective about those who join the team – about 5X more selective than Harvard – but we don’t agree with, nor use the same selection process. In fact, we’re revolutionizing university admissions processes. For example, we don’t care much about your grades or standardized test scores. We care that you can do the job and you have the right attitude. We believe “actions speak louder than words.”
Our hiring process includes a review of your application, a skills assessment test, a virtual interview and lastly, a face-to-face interview with select members of our team via video conference, followed finally by reference calls.
