The Sales and Marketing Specialist will have three core focus areas/responsibilities:

Content Creation & Search Engine Optimization (SEO) – 35%
Responsible for creating, writing, reviewing, and editing content on funding-related topics and articles which will be published on our website and social media platforms to educate Canadian business professionals and drive website traffic. You will research key SEO terms to implement and ensure the content gains maximum exposure. The role will also be responsible for the design, development, and updates to sales and marketing content and collateral which include presentations and info sheet master and other collateral/aids requested such as brochures, special reports including Funding IQ reports, info sheets and sales aids.
Sales Development & Go-To-Market Support – 35%
Lead, execute, and support the inbound and outbound marketing campaigns across a wide variety of channels including blog content, downloadable resources, and email assets. You will support and build impactful nurture campaigns, mine existing clients, and develop new inbound and outbound sales strategies to fuel the government funding practice, as well as cross-selling other Ryan services. As needed, you will provide back up support to both the Sales Development team on MQL (Marketing Qualified Leads) and SQL (Sales Qualified Leads) and sales team on the creation of client info sheets and CRM target opportunity reports.
Program Development – 30%
Track and research government funding programs, ensuring the team is current on all active, upcoming funding programs. You will support the program development team with funding program analysis, systemization, first and second touch email templates, email campaigns, program website content copy, program info sheets/sales collateral, website program database management (for funding lists). You will help build salesforce reports for new funding programs, campaigns and go-to market strategies to target new and existing prospects, clients and strategic partners.
