Business Overview

Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC) is the leading independent clearing broker and custodian in the Canadian market. We provide trade execution, clearing, custody and back-office support services to Canadian-based brokerage firms and registered Portfolio Managers.

The Purpose of the Role

The Product Solutions team is at the center of financial technology and innovation, and we’re looking to add a creative-minded, client-focused individual to our growing team. The Product Solutions Manager will be responsible for product oversight, management and implementation of the strategy for FCC’s digital products that serve the financial services industry. They will support Service and Sales for the assigned product streams with a focus on enhancing our client user experience. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, comfortable wearing many hats at once, and work confidently under pressure. This role will provide the right person with a chance to bring their very best knowledge and experience, while also providing learning and growth opportunity.

What You Will Do

  • Manage product backlog on assigned products in development
  • Translate concepts into actionable product plans and efficient execution for delivery
  • Act as subject matter expert for assigned FCC client facing product solutions
  • Work with the Manager, Product Solutions to provide product solutions representation on projects
  • for client facing initiatives
  • Collaborate with partners across many disciplines, and at all levels across the organization
  • Ensure projects impacting our clients are facilitated in the best interest of our clients
  • Provide support to the sales team to help educate prospective clients
  • Participate in response gathering for RFP’s, RFI’s, etc
  • Consult with Implementation Manager on product solutions competitive analysis, product enhancements, rollouts, and training guides for client facing tools
  • Consult and support the Marketing Manager on the creation and delivery of all marketing materials

  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to seek discrepancies and inconsistencies in available information, explain variances and recommend a course of action for resolution

We are in search of a candidate with the following

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the financial services industry
  • Product management experience preferred
  • Project Management experience an asset
  • Agile Training an asset
  • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Certifications such as a CFA, CSC, MBA will be an asset
