Requirements

What you’ll be doing:

Using data to tell stories – helping the team around you understand not just the facts, but also why they matter and what we should do about them
Open-ended problem-solving – not just answering questions with data, but also asking them
Applying data-analysis & problem-solving skills to drive real business impact
Producing dashboards & data visualizations to help with storytelling, decision-making & governance
Developing & surfacing key metrics for different aspects of organizational success at Neo Financial
Planning & executing A/B experiments to test hypotheses & improve operational outcomes

Who we’re looking for:

5+ years of related business or data analytics/modeling experience (using databases, spreadsheets, etc.)
5+ years’ experience in data interrogation – using data to ask & answer questions
5+ years’ experience with SQL
Demonstrated success in creating business impact through data-driven problem solving
Ability to distill complex findings into clear stories for a business audience
Experienced in producing data visualizations to help with storytelling
Experience with Python or other data-programming languages is an asset
High-level understanding of statistics & machine learning are an asset
