Are you an experienced Tube Bending Machine Operator looking for a new opportunity? We have a position available in North York for a skilled individual who can set up and operate tube bending machines to bend various metal tubes, pipes, and bars according to specifications. As a Tube Bending Machine Operator, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our products.

Shift Timings: 9 am to 5 pm

Responsibilities:

• Set up bending machines by selecting correct dies, adjusting pressures, and making necessary control adjustments.
• Operate tube bending machines to bend metal tubes, pipes, bars, etc., as per provided drawings and specifications.
• Use measuring and inspection equipment such as verniers, height gauges, and tape measures to verify bent parts against specifications.
• Inspect end products to maintain accuracy and quality.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety regulations.
• Perform additional shop duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

• 3-4 years of experience in setting up and operating bending machines.
• Proficiency in using belt sanders, grinders, drill machines, and various other tools.
• Ability to read tape measures, calipers, protractors, blueprints, and process sheets.
• Machining experience, including lathes and milling machines, is an asset.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma in machining is a plus.
• Valid tow motor license is advantageous.
• Must be a Permanent Resident or Canadian citizen.
• Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional multitasking abilities.
• Effective time management skills.
