Our 60+ Endocrinologists, many of whom are nationally renowned for their areas of expertise, are supported by an interdisciplinary team of highly qualified Medical Office Administrators, Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, Registered Dietitians, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists, Optometrists, Opticians, Optical Assistants, Chiropodists and Clinical Research Professionals.
Currently, our growing team is looking for a Clinical Mentor who can work for us on a part-time permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide one on one coaching to footcare providers regarding best practices pertaining to orthotic sales, casting, adjustments and fittings
- Support footcare providers with one-on-one coaching re compression socks/stocking sales, fittings and patient education
- Assist our clinical team to achieve complete confidence in offering products and services to their clients
- Onboarding of new footcare providers (Chiropodists, Pedorthists, Footcare Nurses)
- Establishment of training programs
- Creation of clinical practice documents
- Collaboration with the operations team to ensure an exceptional clinical patient experience
- Assisting in the development of patient educational materials
- Oversight of manufacturing
The role will include clinical visits across the LMC Healthcare Corporation of clinics. A competitive salary and travel expenses will be provided. The Director of Chiropody and Footcare will be your primary point of contact. The entire head office team will work to support you.
Requirements
- 5 or more years as a Pedorthist or Chiropodist
- In good standing with your respective College and Association
- Proficient with orthotic assessments, casting and manufacturing and fitting
- Highly capable of measuring and fitting for compression stockings
- Skilled in measuring and fitting for knee bracing is an asset but not necessary
- 3 or more years in a management role is an asset
- Familiar with current research and best clinical practices
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Comfortable in a leadership role
- Thrive on problem solving
- Experience coaching/teaching others
- Access to a vehicle and a valid drivers license
