Your future role on our team
Your role will mostly involve designing tailings and mine waste facilities, hydrotechnical and geotechnical works and various infrastructures in heavy industry sectors like mining and metals, energy and petrochemicals. You’ll be required to propose solutions that are adapted to client needs for all project cycle stages, from design and preliminary studies to construction.

- Identify and diagnose tailings management issues

- Perform calculations and designs for tailings management components
- Work with other engineers to design works related to environmental management and mining geotechnics: tailings ponds, stockpiles, open pits, ponds, canals, water treatment plants, dams, dikes and retention structures, earthworks
- Prepare drawings and specifications, compile data and draft technical reports
- Mentor and review the work of other engineers

Summary Of Certifications And Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, geology or any other relevant discipline
- At least 10 years of experience in mining geotechnics, mining environment or any other relevant mining experience
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Proficient with Civil 3D software
- Asset: Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
- Asset: Ability to draft technical documents in both languages
