Are you an experienced Business Intelligence Developer who lives in the Fraser Valley? This BI Developer role is with a well-established industrial company based in Abbotsford. You’ll be applying your knowledge of database technology to analyze data and create Power BI dashboards.

This role is well suited to an experienced BI developer who has been developing business business intelligence solutions for several years. Experience with manufacturing and production related data would be considered an asset.

This is a full-time position, and includes a competitive base salary, paid vacation and extended health and dental benefits.

In this role, you’ll work primarily on-site in the Abbotsford office.

One of the attractive parts of this job is to get involved in all aspects of developing the BI solutions. On some days you’ll be gathering requirements from various people across the office, and on other days you’ll be implementing your solutions in code. Currently, they already have a few dashboards built, and there are many more projects on their list. So you’ll have the opportunity to design and build many of the new BI projects.

Requirements

Here are some of the items that you’ll bring to the table for this role:

[-] You are an experienced database developer with five or more years of experience with SQL server and T-SQL programming

[-] You have hands-on experience with PowerBI or equivalent tool

[-] You are comfortable speaking with various people across the business to gather and clarify their requirements

[-] You have the ability to document your solutions and create technical documentation

[-] You reside in the Fraser Valley, and you’re able to work on-site in Abbotsford between Monday and Friday
