The Cultural Interpreter is responsible for coordinating outreach programming for the Curve Lake Cultural Centre and facilitating interpretive activities at the Petroglyphs Provincial Park. This position requires working at the park during the season (May to October) and collaborating with the community, school boards, and institutions throughout the year to teach the history and culture of the Michi Saagiig Anishinaabeg people and promote cultural awareness in the region.
DUTIES:
The incumbent will be responsible for working at the Petroglyphs Provincial Park throughout the season (May to October). During the remainder of the year, the successful candidate will work with the community, school boards and institutions to teach the history and culture of the Michi Saagiig Nation and work to promote cultural awareness throughout the region.
